Its Creation

From the idea to making the #Schlegeis 131 Via Ferrata reality

The #Schlegeis 131 Via Ferrata is 131 metres high, 200 metres long and has 1,260 holes for footholds, grips and safety cables. It is the first via ferrata in world to be constructed on the side of a dam. Its A/B level of difficulty (with a 'C' variation) mean that #Schlegeis131 can be mastered by anyone with a good head for heights.

The project was financed by Mayrhofen-Hippach Tourism Association in association with VERBUND, Austria's leading electricity company.
